Donna Jean Delaney, 52, of Linton, passed away at 5:12 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Ill.
Born July 1, 1954 in South Haven, Mich., she was the daughter of Donald G. Gregory and Clarisse L. Robertson Gregory. On June 1, 1980, she married Pastor James A. Delaney, III.
She was employed at Anderson University School of Theology for the library. She attended the First Church of God of Linton, was a Boy and Girl Scout leader, and was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Phi Theta Kappa and KYILINDI Pipes and Drums.
Survivors include: her husband Pastor James A. Delaney, III of Linton; a son James Albert Delaney IV of Linton; a daughter Heather Dondeana Delaney of Linton; and three sisters, Helen Olsen and Connie Karafin, both of Kokomo, and Mari Gregory of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton, at 11 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Carl Leth officiating.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
