Robert F. Wilson, 77, of Ellettsville, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2006, at his home.
Born Aug. 5, 1928 in Bedford, he was the son of Onita and Ben Wilson.
He was a former resident of Bedford and Bradenton, Fla.
He retired from RCA after 34 years of service. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. He loved to fish and hunt, and he was an avid golfer.
Survivors include: his wife, Connie Hatfield Wilson; his daughter, Cheryl Brown of Bedford; his son, Brian Wilson of Bloomington; three grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Pike Farrell and his first wife, Barbara Chambers Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ellettsville Christian Church, 731 Independence Street, Ellettsville.
The family wishes to thank Bloomington Hospital Hospice, Dr. Melissa Hullinger, and those who assisted in Robert's final days.
