Bonnie Maxine Teague, 88, of Mount Carmel, Ill., and formerly of Sandborn, passed away at 12:33 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2006 at Oakview Heights at Mt. Carmel.
Born Sept. 23, 1917 in Knox County, she was the daughter of Thomas Bowman and Daisy (Mitchell) Bowman. On Dec. 21 1935, she married Chester M. Teague, who passed away June 16, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sandborn Methodist Church and the Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include: a daughter Donna Hart of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Jack Teague and his wife Karen of Springfield, Ill., Fred Teague and his wife Judy of Columbus, and Dan Teague and his wife Emily of Mount Carmel, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Chris and Brian Hart, Mark, Rodney, Scott, Shane, and Thomas Teague, and Suzanne Tansel; eight great-grandchildren; a sister Magarine Osborne of Vincennes; and a brother Rex Bowman and his wife Colleen of Sandborn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chester, a son Chester Allen at birth, a brother-in-law Clair Osborne, and a son-in-law Phil Hart.
Funeral service will be at Sandborn Methodist Church at 11 a.m. (CST) Thursday with the Rev. Bob Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Sandborn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
