Richard D. Mumma, 35, of Bloomington and formerly of Jasonville, passed away Friday, May 19, 2006, at his residence in Bloomington.
Born July 25, 1970 in Sullivan, he was the son of Franklin L. Mumma, Jr. and Sheilla A. (English) Mumma.
He worked in Information Technology with PTS Electronics Corp. He was a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville.
Survivors include: his parents Franklin and Sheilla Mumma of Jasonville; a daughter Victoria Mumma of Linton; a son Richard Levi Mumma of Linton; a sister Stephanie N. Mumma of Jasonville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Scott and Jessica Mumma of Linton, and Kristopher Mumma of Jasonville; his maternal grandparents Charles and Ruth English of Jasonville; his paternal grandparents Franklin L. and Joann Mumma, Sr. of Shelburn; a niece Alexis; a nephew Nicholas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Barbara Mumma.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Jerry Ross and Pastor Bryan Sluder officiating. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery at Howesville.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
