Larry Gale Williams, 58, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Core Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Huntingburg.
Born April 11, 1948 in Linton, he was the son of Gale B. Williams and Juanita (McGlothlin) Williams.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as an Equipment Specialist for NWSC Crane. He attended Mineral United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Erica Dawn Williams of Bloomfield and Peggy Williams of Bloomfield; a son Logan Williams of Bloomfield; his mother Juanita Williams of Bloomfield; three sisters, Connie and her husband Butch Burris of Jasonville, Jeanne and her husband Gary Patterson of Lyons, and Mary Ann Arford of Bloomfield; a brother Dennis G. Williams of Bloomfield; and 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Gale Williams, who passed away Oct. 16, 1986, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Ralph Roach and Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be at Ashcraft Chapel Cemetery, Bloomfield. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 196 of Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
