Stanley Campbell, 91, of Bloomfield, passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at his residence.
Born Jan. 18, 1915 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Floyd Campbell and Alma (Avery) Campbell. On June 3, 1939, he married Mildred E. (Guion) Campbell.
He worked in quality control for General Electric and also was a farmer. He was a member of the Cincinnati Christian Church.
Survivors include: his wife Mildred Campbell of Bloomfield; a son Ronald T. Campbell of Solsberry; three grandchildren, Staccy and Stephen Campbell and Christine Blake; and six great-grandchildren, Cole, Morgan, Bailey, Nicholas, and Leslie Campbell, and Jamie Blake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Richard Lee Campbell, and a brother Norvell Campbell.
Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Cincinnati Christian Church with the Rev. Glen Stidd officiating. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Bloomington Hospital, Greene County Unit.
