Edna May Hensley, 87, of Linton passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2006 at the Lyons Health and Living Center in Lyons.
Born on Oct. 11, 1918, in Linton, she was the daughter of Charles P. and Nellie Blanche (Courtney) Trotter. She spent her life as a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vicki Hensley, of Linton; one sister Esther Risher, of Linton; three nieces, Sarah Stietelmeier, of Lafayette, Pat and husband Bud Ashcraft, of Bloomfield and Margaret and husband Jim Boggess of Atlanta, Ga.; two nephews, Bill Reyolds and wife Paula of Lafayette, and John Risher and wife Rita, of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd E. Hensley on June 2, 1984, one brother, Ralph Trotter, and one sister Ava Cooprider.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Welch and Cornett Linton Chapel with the Rev. Doug Witt officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday until the time of service.
