Marjorie M. (Sullivan) Hendricks Frye, 95, of Bloomfield, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Bloomington Hospitality House.
Born October 2, 1910 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Daniel V. Sullivan and Mamie O. (Meredith) Sullivan. Her first husband, Farvel Hendricks, passed away in 1938. She later married Virgil C. Frye.
She was an assembly worker for NWSC Crane and was an inspector at RCA. She was a member of the Cincinnati Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge in Bloomfield, the CWF at Cincinnati Christian Church, the Homemakers Extension Club, and the Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include: her husband Virgil C. Frye of Solsberry; a daughter Mamie Elnora Larson of Indianapolis; two sons, C. Eugene Hendricks of Camby, and Robert Leon Frye of Patoka; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Farvel Hendricks, a daughter Evalena Wratten, three sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cincinnati Christian Church with Rev. Henry Mann and Rev. Glen Stidd officiating. Burial will be at Carmichael Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:30-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. There will be a Rebekah Lodge Service Thursday at 7 p.m. at the church
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cincinnati Christian Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society.
