Paul Lloyd Wilcoxon, 75, of Bloomfield, passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Nov. 15, 1930 in South Bend, he was the son of George Wilcoxon and Ivan Lou Stangle.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1948-69 as a Chief Petty Officer and also worked in Munitions at NWSC Crane until his retirement. He was a member of the Stanford Masonic Lodge and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include: his wife Mary Ann Wilcoxon of Bloomfield; three sons, Dennis Wilcoxon and his wife Kaffie of St. Petersburg, Fla., Daniel Wilcoxon and his wife April of Spence, and Donald Wilcoxon and his wife Lisa of Bloomington; a step-son Tom Sparks and his wife Kim of Lyons; a step-daughter Tammy and her husband Eric Harrah of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Demarcus and his wife Erica Latson, Kaffie and her husband Mark Duran, Austin Harrah, Stephen Wilcoxon, Lyndal Harrah, Ben Wilcoxon, Cory Sparks, Whitney Harrah, Amanda Wilcoxon, Cara Sparks, Kindra Wilcoxon, Kayla Wilcoxon, and Jesse Wilcoxon; great-grandchildren, Dasia and Lyric Latson; and a nephew George Wilcoxon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Marilyn Colleen Wilcoxon, a sister and a brother.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield. Graveside military service will be by Bloomfield American Legion Post 196.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and from noon until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Stanford Masonic Lodge service will be tonight.
