Khiva T. Bowman, 91, of Danville, passed away at 12:28 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1914 in Newberry, he was the son of Oscar and Dessa (Skomp) Keller. On July 2, 1936, she married Stewart Bowman. He passed away Sept. 24, 1979.
She was a homemaker. She was a Jehovah's Witness and a member of the Bloomfield Kingdom Hall.
Survivors include: a son Vernon Hugh Bowman of Sandborn; a daughter Sharon Berg of Danville; a granddaughter Rebecca Michael; a grandson Stewart Berg; great-grandchildren, Eric Emlinger, Collin Berg, and Devon Berg; and one sister Coila Ledgerwood of Danville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stewart Bowman, a sister Lillian Keller, a brother William Keller, and a half-brother Lex Keller.
Memorial graveside service was at Sandborn Cemetery at 11 a.m. today with Bob Davis officiating.
Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel of Linton was in charge of arrangements.
