Steven D. Pearson, 48, of Jasonville, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2006 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born Aug. 18, 1957 in Tipton, he was the son of Carl E. and Marjorie (Burns) Pearson.
He was a general laborer in carpentry and landscape/nursery.
Survivors include: his mother Marjorie (Burns) Pearson of Jasonville; a sister and brother-in-law Carla and Michael Raquet of Linton; a brother and sister-in-law Ron and Jody Pearson of Jasonville; his former wife Mary Graham of Cicero; three nieces, Lea Ann Raquet of Greenfield, Sarah Hardesty of Jasonville, and Kristi Pearson of Jasonville; two nephews, Michael Raquet of Atlanta, Ind., and Adam Pearson of Jasonville; and great niece and nephew Michele and Alex Raquet of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl Pearson, who passed away in March 1986, and his grandparents, Glen and Thelma Burns and Vern and Opal Pearson.
Memorial service will be Friday at 8 p.m. at the Lawton Street Christian Church Fellowship Hall with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Arcadia.
Gathering of Friends will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church's fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church.
McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville is in charge of arrangements.
