Philip Cameron Bolton, 75, of Jasonville, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born Sept. 10, 1930 in Jasonville, he was the son of George Henry Bolton and Fern Lucile (Bickel) Bolton. He had been married to Pauline Bolton.
He had retired from Delco Remy in Anderson after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Jasonville American Legion Post #172, where he had been Past Commander, 1st Vice Commander, and Trustee. He was a US Airforce veteran of the Korean War and also served in Guam. He loved fishing and enjoyed sharing his catch with others as well as his big fish stories. He lived to give to others. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Indiana Hoosiers fan.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law Michele and Scott (Pheffer) Underwood of New Castle; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Stephani Pheffer of Carmel, Bo and Diana Pheffer of New Castle, and Brett and Gail Pheffer of Carmel; three grandchildren, Jacob Cameron Underwood, Samantha Underwood and Cassie Underwood; a sister and brother-in-law Barbara and David Clayton of Jasonville; a nephew Jerrit and Melinda Clayton of Zionsville; a great-nephew David Andrew and Sheri Clayton of Plainfield; a great-great nephew David Clayton; and a step-great great niece Bailey Harper.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Pauline.
Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home Jasonville. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland with military graveside rites.
