Dottie Tucker, 47, of Linton, passed away at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
She was born May 4, 1958 in Lawrenceville, Ill.
She owned and operated Tucker's Best of Care Daycare in Linton since 1988 and was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: her husband of 28 years Tim Tucker of Linton; two daughters, Brandy (Tucker) Edelman and her husband Eric of Linton, and Danielle Tucker and her fiancÚ Josh Pittman of Linton; a granddaughter Chloe of Linton, her mother Shirley K. (Neal) Stewart of Jasonville; two sisters, Linda Singleton and India Dailey, both of Jasonville; a brother Kevin Stewart of Jasonville; her mother-in-law Ann Tucker of Linton; her sister-in-law Jill Hancock of Linton; a life-time best friend Karen Williams of Jasonville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Jasonville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Sam Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday and at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
The family suggests that donations be made in Dottie's memory to Ronald McDonald House, American Liver Foundation, or National Foundation for Transplants, through the funeral home. Organ donation saves lives.
