Paul C. Abrams, 89, of Carlisle, passed away at 6:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 at Sullivan Health and Living Center.
Born Feb. 7, 1917 in Clay City, he was the son of Charles Abrams and Luetta Miller Abrams.
He was a retired tool and dye maker, a Marshall for the town of Carlisle, and on the Carlisle Town Board. He was a member of the Indian Prairie Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Gerald Abrams of Vienna, Ill., and Harold Leon Abrams of Indianapolis; one daughter Elizabeth Masters of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Vest, four brothers, Harvey, James, Lloyd, and Nathaniel Abrams, and four sisters, Lottie Arnett, Mary Morrison, Stella Rooksberry, and Sara Montgomery.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Carlisle.
