SANGER, Texas -- Stephen Richard Hartsburg, 39, of Sanger, Texas and formerly of Switz City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas of injuries due to a weather related auto accident in Denton, Texas.
Born May 17, 1966 in Groton, Conn., he was the son of Richard Clyde and Beth Ann (Baughman) Hartsburg. On April 9, 1988 in Corinth, he married Virginia (Ginger) Keeland.
He was a 1984 graduate of Denton High School and was employed by both the Black Rock Water Corp. and the Denton Record Chronicle as a carrier.
Survivors include: his wife Virginia of Sanger, Texas; his parents of Aubrey, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law Krista and James Offutt of Aubrey; and a brother and sister-in-law Tim and Laurie Hartsburg, of the Colony; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dogs, Megan and Kenzie.
Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, Texas with Chaplain Rodney Bolejack officiating.
