Betty June (Isenogle) Bingham, 80, of Bloomfield, passed away at 8:56 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006 at Indianapolis Community Hospital South.
Born Aug. 28, 1924 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Royal Van Isenogle and Leona Blanche Stone. She had been married to Valis D. Bingham, who passed away Aug. 7, 1991.
She was a bookkeeper for Wickes Lumber, office manager for Bradford D. Bingham Dentistry, and former owner and operator with her husband of Lyons Electric in Lyons. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Bloomfield.
Survivors include: a daughter Shana and her husband Jim Bowman of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Ashley Bingham-Whitfield of Milwaukee, Wis., Jordan Bingham and Evan Bingham, both of Bloomington, Sarah Ackerman of Chicago, Ill., and Laura Bowman and Andrew Bowman, both of Greenwood; a great-grandchild Heath Bradford Whitfield of Milwaukee, Wis.; and a daughter-in-law (formerly) Jeanie Bingham of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Valis, a son Bradford Dean Bingham, and a brother Keith Isenogle.
Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at Bloomfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
