Randy Joe White, 44, of Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 16, 1961 in Greene County, he was the son of Stephen and Rosalie White.
He graduated from Bloomfield High School with the class of 1979. He began his work career in the family business. He spent 15 plus years as a federal employee. He furthered his education and his career on the Crane Naval Base, working his way to Contract Specialist. Always dedicated, he was at work more times than his health permitted. His deep and sometimes comedic love and devotion for family, friends and coworkers was a driving force and great source of pleasure in his life.
Survivors include: his parents Steve and Rosie White; his grandmother Leone Pearson; three sisters, Susan White Chaney, Karen White Roach, and Stephanie White Laganour; two foster brothers, David Pickett and Bill Collins; and nieces and nephews, Jessica and Andrew Chaney, Shawna and Stephan Laganour, Kelsi Roach, and Sarah, Meaghan and Alec Pickett.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Paul and Geneva White, his maternal grandfather Dee Pearson and his uncles, Lester and Robert Pearson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Faith Christian Church, State Road 54 West, Bloomfield. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Faith Christian Church in Randy's memory.
