Kathryn M. Munson, 76, of Jasonville, passed away at 12:39 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2006 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born Aug. 2, 1929 in Salem, Ill., she was the daughter of Henery Marine and Mary Ethel Brandebury. On Sept. 27, 1959, she married Joseph T. Munson. He passed away Dec. 18, 1987.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: three daughters, Kathy George of Jasonville, Penny Farabee of Trafalgar, and Kimberly Turkiewicz of Black Canyon City, Ariz.; three sons, Larry Munson of Rochester Hills, Mich., Steve Munson of Jasonville, and Michael Munson of Butlerville; three sisters, Norma Cole of Brazil, Erma Brandebury of Brazil, and Sarah Coleen Edwards of Belville, Wash.; three brothers, Frank Brandebury of Terre Haute, Bob Brandebury of Remington, Ill., and Ralph Brandebury of Evansville; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, two sisters, Elan Rita Brandebury and Helen Shelton, a brother Eugene Brandebury, and two grandchildren, Stacia Turkiewicz and Paul V. Burns.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
