Mickey G. Hayes, 47, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:44 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 1, 1958 in Linton, he was the son of David Hayes and Geraldine Osbourne. He was married to Tracy A. (Lemons) Hayes.
He was a truck driver for Rees Trucking in Bloomington and had 20 years of service in the National Guard. He was a member of the AMVETS, and the Eagles Lodge 1085 in Bloomington.
Survivors include: his wife Tracy A. Hayes of Bloomington; three sons, Mickey G. Hayes II of Lafayette, Tom A. Hayes of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Adam Hayes of Bloomington; a daughter Honi D. Hayes of Bloomington; grandchildren, Caleb T. and Peyton M. Hayes; his parents, Donald and Geraldine Hayes of Owensburg; and two brothers, Mark Hayes of Ellettsville and Scott Hayes of Downingtown, Penn.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery. Military honors will be by the American Legion Post 196 of Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
