Margie K. Taylor, 82, of Sullivan, passed away at 6 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 at Deland Hospital in Florida.
Born March 16, 1923 in Clay, Ky., she was the daughter of Dailey H. Kelley and Agnes P. Carrier. She had been married to James "Jay" W. Taylor, who passed away in 2003.
She had retired from H.W. Gossard in Sullivan and was a member of the Indian Prairie Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Taylor and his wife Becky of Henderson, Ky., and Jim Taylor and his wife Nancy of Dugger; two daughters, Sharon and her husband Donald Hart of Tuscola, Ill., and Shirley and her husband Ben Monroe of Sullivan; a brother D.H. Kelley of Clay, Ky.; two sisters, Maxeen and her husband John Marks, and LaDon and her husband A.W. Frederick, all of Clay, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Taylor, a daughter Lindarae Taylor, two brothers, Morris Kelley and Dorris Kelley, and a sister Barbara Beckner.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan with the Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery in Paxton.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
