Myrtle Lee Collins, 93, of Jasonville, passed away at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born Sept. 7, 1912 in Moulton, Ala., she was the daughter of James L. and Beuford Mae (Johnson) Norwood. She had been married to Lutie Collins, who passed away May 24, 1973.
She was a homemaker and the director of the Jasonville Senior Citizen's Center. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: a daughter Juanita N. Williams of Linton; a daughter and son-in-law Janice L. and Gary Cross of Lyons; a son and daughter-in-law Jerry J. and Jayne Collins of Jasonville; two brothers, James Floyd Norwood of Florida and Terry Lee Norwood of Indianapolis; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lutie, a son Arthur Lewis Williams and a sister Lucille Chilton.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. on Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, Jasonville, with Pastor Sam Bush officiating. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
