Cordelia Ann Nolting, 86, of Linton, passed away at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born Dec. 13, 1918 in Linton, she was the daughter of Joseph and Isa P. (Bough) Nolting.
She graduated from Switz City Central High School in 1936 and from Indiana Central Business College and was one of the first employees of the Bloomfield REMC, where she was office manager for over 46 years. She was a member of the Nine Mile United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: a brother Harold Nolting and his wife Ruth of Linton; a sister-in-law Patsy Nolting of Linton; six nieces, Sharon Osborne, Beth Rhodes, Beverly Dale, Karen Fidler, Belinda Cassidy and Sherry Robbins; four nephews, Jerry Nolting, Bill Nolting, Ed Hoffeditz, and Joe Nolting; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Donald R. Nolting and a sister Dorothy Hoffeditz.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. John Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and from noon to the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Nine Mile Methodist Church through the funeral home.
