James Edward Todd, 66, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:18 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born Dec. 26, 1938 in Springville, he was the son of Raymond Richard Todd and Artie Lou Godsey. He was married to Phyllis J. (Heaton) Todd.
He was co-owner and operator of Hoosier Insurance in Bloomfield. He was a member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge of Bloomfield, the Bloomfield Rotary, and the American Legion Post 196 in Bloomfield.
Survivors include: his wife Phyllis Todd of Bloomfield; three sons, Doug Todd and his wife Tina of Carmel, Danny Todd and his wife Kim of Bloomfield, and Dusty Todd of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Ashley Todd, Noah Todd, Alyvia Todd, Alley Todd, and Mitch Todd; a step-grandchild Jarred Myers; and his mother Artie L. Workman of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Todd.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery Bloomfield. Military services will be by the American Legion Post 196 of Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
