Robert "Bob" Clements, 76, of Washington, passed away at 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Born June 22, 1929 in Washington, he was the son of John D. and Edna (Meyer) Clements. On Feb. 1, 1952, he married Monica (Mattingly) Clements. She passed away Jan. 4, 2004.
He was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School and had retired from Purdue Food as a production coordinator-controller. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the Eagles. He was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church in Washington.
Survivors include: two daughters, Michelle and her husband Robert Neukam of Linton and Suszette and her husband Bryan Neukam of Washington; a sister-in-law LaVerne James of Washington; a grandson Scott M. Neukam of Linton; and a niece Vidette James of Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Monica, a son Michael Lee Clements, and a sister Marge Clements.
Funeral service was today at 10 a.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church, Washington, with Father Gordon Mann officiating. Burial was in St. John Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday at the Ed Lee Mortuary, Washington, with a wake service at 4 p.m. and a K of C Rosary at 7 p.m.
