Willard Lewis Hasler, 81, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born Aug. 7, 1924 in Linton, he was the son of Eli Rex and Ruby (Wright) Hasler.
He was a 1942 graduate of Switz City High School, and served in the United States Army during World War II. He attended Switz City Christian Church and was a member of the Lyons American Legion Post 479.
Survivors include: three brothers, Delmar C. Hasler and his wife June of Linton, Lowell Hasler and his wife Martha of Clay City, and Harold Victor Hasler and his wife Karen of New Whiteland; a sister Janice and her husband Carthal Hawks of Tamassee, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 1 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will follow at the Prairie Chapel Cemetery north of Newberry.
Friends may call Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
