Thelma Dale Owen, 69, of Linton, formerly of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Farmersburg, passed away at 11:42 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born in Farmersburg on Jan. 23, 1936 the daughter of Edgar and Laura (Rockwell) Tuttle.
She retired from Silver Beach Club Resort as head of housekeeping in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Survivors include: three daughters, Debbie Gravemier of Tell City, Sandra Barnes of Linton, Laura Kynion of Lancaster, Ohio; three sons, Fred Owen of Indianapolis, Rick Owen and Sam Owen of Jasonville; three sisters, Carolyn Morris and Wilma Tuttle of Farmersburg and Wanda Tuttle of Florida; two brothers, Sonny Tuttle of Florida and Jerry Tuttle of Farmersburg; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Owen in 2002, three sisters, three brothers, and her parents.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 1 p.m. today with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends called today from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
