Emma Jane Terrell, 84, of Worthington passed away Friday evening, Dec. 23, 2005 at the winter home of her son Bill, in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Born Feb. 25, 1921 in Lyons to Jesse Lee and Sarah (West) Abrams.
She was a homemaker, and member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.
She is survived by two sons, William Kent (Judy) Terrell of Mount Sterling, Ill., and Stephen Max Terrell of Monticello, Ark.; two grandchildren, Brian and Jennifer Terrell; two step-grandchildren, Christine and Robert Michaud; seven great-grandchildren, Aurora, Evan, Brandon, Lauren, John, Emily and Yasmine and a half brother, Jerry Abram of Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Elva Abram; her husband, William Terrell Jr. on Jan. 21, 1993; two brothers Harold "Bill" and Max W. Abram; one sister, Lucille Gray and one step-sister, Esther Sweeney.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 11 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. Doug Sanders, officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Cass County, Ill., at the funeral home.
