Rosemary "Gilligan" Cathcart, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 1005 at Windsor Manor in Indianapolis.
Born Oct. 5, 1927 in Linton, she was the daughter of Thomas Ralph and Alice (Moore) Gilligan. She had been married to Robert B. Cathcart, who passed away Dec. 1, 1971.
She previously worked at Days Inn in Indianapolis and for 20 years at Western Electric in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Belleaire Methodist Church of Indianapolis.
Survivors include: a sister Myrtle Rodarmele of Linton; a niece Sue Eccles of Bloomfield; and four nephews, Joe Rodarmele of Brownsburg, Dale Whaley of Indianapolis, Ronald Whaley of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Tracy Evans of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, five sisters, Geneva Kolacek, Audrey Evans, Frances Richardson, Thelma Snyder and Virginia Gilligan and her parents.
Graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, at Switz City Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
