Ruby Regina (Johnson) Lynch, 92, of Jasonville, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.
Born Feb. 14, 1913 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Don and Ruth (Cooke) Johnson. In October 1935, she married Frederick Lynch, Jr. He passed away Aug. 23, 2003.
She retired from Montgomery Ward in 1975, where she was a retail clerk. She was a member of the Lawton Street Christian Church of Jasonville.
Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Bortner of Kimberling City, Mo., and Kathy Sue Foley of Columbus; four sons, Robert "Bob" Lynch of Lafayette, and Hugh Lynch, Thomas Lynch, and Joe Lynch, all of Columbus; a brother Carl Johnson of Jasonville; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. today at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery at Hymera.
Visitation was Monday, and from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
