BLOOMINGTON -- Marvin Lee Fulford, 73, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at his residence.
Born Feb. 21, 1932 in Morgan County, he was the son of Willard "Bub" and Inez June (Knight) Fulford.
He was a retired construction worker and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He was a member of Hindustan Christian Church.
He loved coon hunting with his son, brother and dad, making crafts with his wife and fishing with his family and playing horseshoes.
Survivors include: his wife Marilynn Lee (Cummings) Fulford of Bloomington; three daughters, Colleen Fulford of Trafalgar, Tammy Hanna of Martinsville, and Aleta and her husband Steve Crowe of Bloomfield; a son Brian Fulford and his wife Sherrie of Waverly; seven grandchildren, Doug Hanna and friend Nichole Roach of Lyons, Katrina and her husband Josh Goodwin of Columbus, Dustin Fulford serving in the U.S. Navy, Stephanie Fulford of Washington State, Matthew Crowe of Bloomfield, Riki Anne Crowe of Bloomfield, and Hannah Crowe of Bloomfield; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Goodwin of Columbus, Laine Goodwin of Columbus, and Shelby Hutchison of Waverly; four brothers, Virgil Fulford and his wife Dee, Kieth Fulford and his wife Judy, Kim Fulford and his wife Joyce, and Pat Fulford; three sisters, LaVerna "Sis" Rudolph and friend Jim Fairchild, Jody Parsons, and Lucy and her husband Nelson Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, and two sisters, Donna Coats and Dean Wampler.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, Bloomington. Burial will be in Hindustan Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hindustan Christian Church.
