APOPKA, Fla. -- Emerson R. Scott, 86, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005 at Florida Living Nursing Center in Apopka, Fla.
Born Oct. 17, 1919 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Everett and Marion Scott.
He was a retired owner/operator truck driver. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific as a Master Tech Sgt.
Survivors include: his sister Agnes Scott of Avon; a son Jack Scott of Maitland, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years Adele Scott, his second wife of six years Anita Diggins Scott, and his parents and two brothers, Muvvell and Gib Scott, all of Bloomfield.
He was laid to rest next to his wife Adele Scott at Woodlawn Cemetery in Orlando, Fla.
