Loren D. Inman, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born April 9, 1924 in Martin County, he was the son of Cletis Inman and Beatrice Crane. He was married to Doris J. (Snow) Inman.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He retired from RCA in 1984 after 31 years of service. He was also a farmer.
Survivors include: his wife Doris J. Inman of Bloomfield; two brothers, Doyle Inman of Oregon and Kermit Inman of Bloomington; two sisters, Betty Price of Bloomfield and Wilma Sparks of Solsberry; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Patricia Inman, who passed away Oct. 4, 2005 and a sister Cleta Carmichael.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. American Legion Post 196 of Bloomfield will conduct military services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens of Bloomington.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
