Lois V. Jeffers, 85, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born Jan. 14, 1920 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Blumer Hasler and Ethel Foster. She had been married to Louis A. Jeffers, who passed away April 5, 2001.
She was a librarian at NWSC Crane. She was a member of the Switz City Christian Church and NARFE at Crane.
Survivors include: a daughter Sandra S. and her husband Lexie Crowe of Bloomfield; two grandsons, Steven Crowe and his wife Aleta of Bloomfield, and Randall Crowe of Bloomfield; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Riki Ann, Amber, Christian and Hannah Crowe, all of Bloomfield; a brother-in-law Robert Lehman of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis A. Jeffers, and two sisters, Helen Lehman and Mildred Bays.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Chris Gehring officiating.
Friends may call from 10 a.m.-2:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield.
