William "Bill" Isaac House, 76, of Dugger, entered into eternal life on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005.
Born July 30, 1929 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Jefferson and Jennie (Chandler) House. On Aug. 8, 1949, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Bonnie Lee Moore.
He retired from RCA in Bloomington after 25 years and worked for Wiseco after retiring. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Dugger.
Survivors include: his wife Bonnie Lee of Dugger; two children, Karen and her husband Jim Burris of Linton and Pam and her husband Raymond Jones of Dugger; five grandchildren, Shane Porter of Cass, Brittany and her husband Bill Brock of Linton, and Jeremiah, Hannah and Isaac Jones of Dugger; two great-grandchildren, Trayton and Adia Porter of Cass; four brothers, Jefferson and his wife Rita House of Indianapolis, Jack and his wife Billie House of Linton, Bob and his wife Mary House of Dugger, and John House of Henderson, Ky.; four sisters, Nancy Hardesty of Linton, Shirley and her husband Gene Cullison of Dugger, Melba and her husband Don Cartwright of California, and Jennie Kelm of Dugger; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Isaac and Nan (Parks) House and William and Sally (Roll) Chandler, a sister Rosemary House, and infant children, Billie Lee, Mary Etta, Gregory Allen and Jeffery Wayne.
A funeral service was held at Bible Baptist Church in Dugger on Saturday, Oct. 8, and burial was at Dugger Cemetery.
Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger was in charge of arrangements.
