Louise Rumple, 92, of Jasonville, passed away at 10:31 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan.
Born Oct. 18, 1913 in Howesville, she was the daughter of Luther and Susie (Goble) Bonham.
She was owner and operator or Rumple's Store in Jasonville. She was a member of Wilson General Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her daughter Evelyn Jean Ellis of Franklin, daughter-in-law Jacqueline Rumple of Howesville; sister Josephine Willy of Martinsville; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oscar Rumple; one son Jerry Rumple; two brothers Walter Bonham and Lewis Luther Bonham; and one sister Imogene Bonham Christopher.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
