Louise Buskirk, 81, of Worthington, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born April 28, 1924 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Delbert Roy and Stella (Marshall) Foley. She had been married to Charles Richard Buskirk, who passed away Sept. 1, 1977.
She was a homemaker. She formerly worked for the Moses family, and was a waitress at the Triangle Restaurant in Worthington. She was a member of Christian Church.
Survivors include: three daughters, Linda Hollingsworth of Bloomington, Susie Wilcox of Bloomfield, and Kay Buskirk of Clearfield, Utah; two sisters, Pauline Laswell of Worthington and Thelma Vandeventer of Bloomfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, a brother Bobby D. Foley, a sister Margie Dayhoff, and a son-in-law Sam Hollingsworth.
Funeral service were Monday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with Pastors Ed Beedel and Deb Reichenbach officiating. Burial was in Worthington Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday evening and Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
