Robert Keith Virgin, 72, of Solsberry, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005 at his residence.
Born April 22, 1933 in Linden, he was the son of Garland and Mabel (Summers) Virgin. He was married to Dovie (Guy) Virgin.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Site N Sewer Contractors in Indianapolis and a member of the National Guard, Camp Atterbury.
Survivors include: his wife Dovie of Solsberry; three stepsons, Terry Guy and Michael White, both of Bloomington, and Danny White of Solsberry; one stepdaughter Debra Patton of Bedford; a sister Nancy Henson of Linden; and seven step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson George White.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield. Burial will be in Solsberry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.
