Jessie Lee McKee Begerman Woodward, 71, of Farmersburg, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2005 at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.
Born April 27, 1934 in Pleasantville, she was the daughter of Charles and Thelma (Wimberly) McKee.
She was a retired nurse's aide and a homemaker. She was a member of the Shelburn First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Charles Begerman of Prairie Creek and Daniel Begerman of Wisconsin; one daughter Deborah Pirtle of Farmersburg; three step-sons, Jack Woodward, Terry Woodward, and Jerry Woodward; one step-daughter Carrie Lynne Harazin of Cocoa, Fla.; three brothers, Roger (Buddy) McKee of Merom, Jimmie McKee of Sullivan, and Terry (Skeet) McKee of Sullivan; nine sisters, Luella Hise of Westphalia, Barbara Fellows of Jackson, Mich., Mary Pool of Yuma, Ariz., Pauline Snyder of Galien, Mich., Nancy Blackwell of Sandborn, Beverly McKee of Bicknell, Janice Schulz of Duvall, Wash., Joyce Lingle of Sullivan, and Christy Morlock of Vincennes; four grandchildren, Ryan and Melisha Begerman, Brandon Begerman and Amanda Zaring; and one great-granddaughter Rheanna Zaring.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Herbert Begerman in 1977, her second husband Dillion Woodward, and a sister Bertie Montgomery.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Newkirk's Funeral Home, Dugger, with Pastor Michael Nave officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday and before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
