Clarace E. Turley, 88, of Jasonville, passed away at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2005, at the Greene County General Hospital, Linton.
Born Jan. 25, 1917 in Clay City, she was the daughter of Arthur and Lela (White) Reese. On April 17, 1942, she married Roy C. Turley. He passed away April 10, 1992.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: a daughter Leanna Westfall and her companion Scott of Bradenton, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law Roy and Kathy Turley of Plainfield; two grandchildren, Cindy and her husband Tim Blocher, and Mark Turley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Jean Reese of Pueblo, Colo., and Paris and Lois Reese of Jasonville; a special nephew Shane Reese and his wife Leslie of Jasonville; three great-nephews, Josh Schmidt, Trever Reese and Seth Reese; a sister-in-law Hazel Haugh of North Fort Myers, Fla.; and nieces and nephews, Carl Turley and his wife Evelyn, Ruby Frye, Garrett McQueary, Tom McQueary, Betty Wonders, Stevie Jo Reese, Stephanie Orman, Buddy Brown, and Angie Wagle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, a sister Virginia Brown and a brother Junior Reese.
Graveside service was Saturday at Lebanon Cemetery, Midland, with Pastor Tom Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, Jasonville, was in charge of arrangements.
