Richard Kennedy "Kenny" Harrison, 64, of Jasonville, passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born Dec. 28, 1940 in Greene County, he was the son of Richard and Kathleen (Duckworth) Harrison. On Nov. 2, 1963, he married Alice L. Treadway.
He had retired from Jasonville Utilities in 1990 and the Jasonville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 172.
Survivors include: his wife Alice L. Harrison of Jasonville; three daughters and a son-in-law, Tamie and Michael Duncan of Dugger, Marjorie Jordan of Paris, Ill., and Jeannie Jo Thoma of Chicago, Ill.; a son Bobby Evitts of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dixie and Ray Glenn of Linton, Rita "Kay" and Charles Bose of Carlisle, and Marjorie and Harold "Pude" Keller of Jasonville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Diane Harrison of Coalmont, and George and Jerrie Harrison of Lewis; grandchildren, Katie Marshall, Allison Jordan, Wesley Marshall, and Joey Revell; step-grandsons, Brandon and Kyle Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Kathy Harrison.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastors Sam Bush and Dana Coverstone officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Midland.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A fire department memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. today.
