Kathleen M. "Kathy" Tribby, 90, of Fitzgerald, Ga., passed away Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Born Feb. 28, 1915 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Claude and Ruth Greene Livingston.
She attended business school and was a former secretary for the Rochester Sentinel in Rochester. She instructed the mentally challenged in basic life and business skills at the Manitou Training Center in Rochester. She continued her relationship with some of her clients long after her retirement. She was a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Women's Club and the UMW, all of Rochester.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law Cindy and James Campbell of Fitzgerald; two grandsons, Ty Campbell and his wife Dana of Milledgeville, Ga., and Ross Campbell of Augusta, Ga.; and a sister Rosalie Rapp of Linton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilford Harrison Tribby, a brother Bill Livingston, and a sister Josephine L. Kanowski.
Funeral service was Saturday at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, Ga. with the Rev. Kelly Brown and the Rev. Jim Faircloth officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
