Onieta Pearl Duncan, 73, of Linton, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Glenburn Home, Linton.
Born August 12, 1931 in Sandborn, she was the daughter of Ermal and Ethel (Chestnut) Phillips.
She had worked for RCA in Bloomington and had been baptized at the Linton First Christian Church.
Survivors include: a daughter Karen L. Van Hentenryck of Sandusky, Ohio; a grandson Scott Campbell of Jackson, Mich.; three great-grandchildren, Eric, Heather, and Brianna Campbell; a brother Don Phillips of Linton; and two sisters, Eleanor Lowe of Jackson, Mich., and Hazel Stewart of Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Robert and Wendell Phillips, Elden McHolland and Ermal Phillips, and four sisters, Priscilla Phillips, Joanna Nemeth, Vera Frietag, and Violet Hudson.
Funeral service will be at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with Warren Shake officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Linton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
