BICKNELL ---- Rodney L. Racey, 47, of Carlisle, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, at Sullivan Community Hospital in Sullivan.
Born December 19, 1957 in Linton, he was the son of Jerry Lee and Joy Ann (Meyers) Racey.
He had been employed at Wal-Mart for seven and one half years in the maintenance department. He had served in the Linton Army National Guard and was a member of the Bethel United Church of Christ in Freelandville.
Survivors include: three sons, Kahre Scott Racey of Linton, Jason Michael Racey of Carlisle, and Nicholas Lee Orchard of Washington; two daughters, Brittany Nicole Racey and Jennifer Lynn Racey, both of Washington; four grandchildren, Jacob Racey, Alex Racey, Madison Orchard, and Landon Orchard; a nephew Brandon Wolfe; one brother Dale Racey of Washington; and three sisters, Lorrie Racey of Alford, Fla., Jean Ray of Bicknell, and Kimberlee Wolfe of Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at noon on Tuesday at McClure-Utt Funeral Home in Bicknell, with the Rev. Alice Bline officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
