James O. Hasler, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at his residence.
Born February 20, 1927 in Bicknell, he was the son of John Olaf and Arkie (Foster) Hasler. He was married to Janice G. Hasler, who passed away July 1, 2002.
He worked at Western Electric as a molding press operator, retiring after 31 years. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the New Palestine Masonic Lodge #144, Morristown Eastern Star Chapter 316, and the Lawrence Chapter of the York Rite.
Survivors include: a son Andy R. Hasler of Morristown; a sister Mary Martin of Linton; a brother Robert Hasler of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three granddaughters; and four great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janice G. Hasler, and a daughter Nancy Ellen Hasler.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield.
