Duvie Dare Shrader, 84, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2005 at her son David's residence in Bloomfield.
Born July 24, 1920, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of Ernest and Vervie Clyne (Walker) Cook.
She had retired after serving as housemother for Bureau of Indian Affairs in New Mexico.
Survivors include: three sons, David Leroy Shrader of Bloomfield, Ernest Alvin Shrader and Darryl Shrader, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter Marian Joyce Shrader of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister Nada Edwards of Colorado; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years David Newton Shrader, four brothers, and one sister.
Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service or visitation.
