Jerry Thomas (J.T.) Chesterfield, 31, of Fayetteville, W.V., and formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005, in Fayetteville, W.V.
Born June 17, 1973 in Portsmouth, Va., he was the son of Jerry W. and Juanita (Foster) Chesterfield. He was married to Tiffanee Hess-Chesterfield.
He was a deck hand for the Kanawha River Terminal in West Virginia. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He devoted his life to his family and love for the outdoors.
Survivors include: his wife Tiffanee Hess-Chesterfield of Fayetteville, W.V.; two daughters, Lindsey Hess of Fayetteville, W.V., and Victoria Chesterfield of Fayetteville, W.V.; his mother Juanita Chesterfield of Bloomington; two sisters, Jana Sheets and Jerilyn Sherer, both of Bloomington; seven nephews; and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents Bert and Eva Mae Chesterfield, and his maternal grandparents Clarence and Olive Foster.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield with the Rev. Paul Forney officiating. Burial will be in Dugger Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
