Mary E. Calvert, 85, of Worthington, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at her residence.
Born Nov. 22, 1919 in Worthington, she was the daughter of Guy and Blanche (Noel) Hamilton.
She was a homemaker, a farmer's wife and she helped her daughter when she owned the For Get Me Not flower shop in Worthington. She was a member of the Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.
Survivors include: her husband Clarence Calvert of Worthington; two daughters, Susie and her husband Larry Murdock of Lafayette, and Carolyn and her husband Jerry Murdock of Worthington; four grandchildren, John Murdock of Worthington, Guy Murdock of Austin, Texas, Ian Murdock of Indianapolis, and Heather Murdock of Zionsville; and five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Isaac, Regan, Keely, and Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Margaret Pryor.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington 11 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. Mel Camp officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
