COAL CITY ---- George William Kennedy, 77, of Coal City, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 25, 1927 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ila O. and Cecile Kennedy.
He was an institutional food salesman for 52 years, and attended Olivet College. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include: his wife Dottie (Gilbert) Kennedy of Coal City; three sons, John W. Kennedy of Indianapolis, Bert Riley of Indianapolis, and Ron Jackson Flora of Noblesville; two daughters, Felicia Isaacs of Indianapolis and Beth E. May of Indianapolis; a sister Lurilla Hiday of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dean and Wallace Kennedy.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at McCray Cemetery in Wilkerson.
