Phyllis Lee (Baize) Weddle, 79, of Farmersburg and formerly of Linton, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Sullivan County Community Hospital, Sullivan.
Born Jan. 21, 1926 in Linton, she was the daughter of Otho (Ky) and Stella (Sexton) Baize.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: a son Phillip Weddle and his wife Jane of Indianapolis; a daughter Dianne Weddle of Danville, Ill.; a grandson Adam Weddle and his wife Theresa of Indianapolis; a granddaughter Angela and her husband Christopher Toth of Indianapolis; two great-grandsons, Frank Toth and Zachery Weddle; a great-granddaughter Grace Toth; and an adopted granddaughter Molly Smythe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Richard Engle, her second husband of 57 years John Milton Weddle, who passed away March 28, 2003, and a brother Bobby G. Baize.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Lyons, with Dianne Weddle officiating. Burial will be at Marco Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home in Lyons.
