Fern Duvivier, Jr., 84, of St. Cloud, Fla., and formerly of Linton, passed away Friday, April 1, 2005 in St. Cloud. Fla.
Born Jan. 10, 1921, he was the son of Fern Sr. and Gabriella (Ferrand) Duvivier.
He was supervisor of the gas company in Linton in the 1950s, owned and operated the Linton Bowling Lanes from 1951-66, and was involved in a popular dance band in Linton during that time. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He will be remembered as a storyteller, fishing buddy, and musician.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law Greg and Cathy Duvivier, with whom he resided, of St. Cloud, Fla.; a daughter Patricia Roush of Fishers; three grandchildren, Greg Duvivier, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and Jaclyn Clayton, all of St. Cloud, Fla., and Fathom Plummer of Indianapolis; six great-grandchildren, Aaron Clayton, Alexia Clayton, Briana Duvivier, Brandon Duvivier, Benjamen Bundy and Zayne Bundy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no funeral service or viewing. Interment will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
